We have an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer at our aerospace location in Burnsville, MN. The primary focus of this role is developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, driving process improvement initiatives, leading Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations and ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of quality assurance experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of quality management systems, quality assurance methodologies, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for quality assurance.
  • Aerospace industry related experience or close comparison.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and processes to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to improve the quality of products and services.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and potential problems.
  • Create and maintain documentation of quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Develop and lead training sessions on quality assurance topics.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality of components and materials used in production.
  • Investigate customer complaints and issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics.
