About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Quality team in delivering high standards of product reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Customer Service. You’ll assist with quality systems, document control, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives, especially related to our IATF 16949-certified environment. This is an excellent role for someone with foundational experience in quality engineering, ideally within the automotive sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field – or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings and interpreting specifications
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with quality software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and compliance of the IATF 16949 Quality Management System
  • Assist in preparation and submission of PPAPs, Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Work Instructions
  • Participate in internal audits and support customer and third-party audits
  • Analyze quality data and assist in root cause analysis using tools like 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D
  • Collaborate with Production to monitor and improve scrap, rework, and defect rates
  • Respond to customer complaints and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Support new product launches by contributing to quality planning and validation
