The Quality Engineer will work within the Quality Team to plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products. This role involves planning and conducting analysis, inspection, testing, and integration to assure quality products/components, applying statistical process control (SPC) methods, documenting data, developing new problem-solving approaches, and communicating significant issues or developments.

  • Work within the Quality Team to plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products.
  • Plan and conduct analysis, inspection, testing, and integration to assure quality products/components.
  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate current process and process changes.
  • Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
  • Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and program information on results of quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
  • A bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma Practices, and ISO-9001 and 17025 experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification highly desired, Black Belt a plus.
  • Proficient in Minitab and MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) skills.
  • Problem solving and logical thinking skills a must.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10 percent of the time.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
