About The Position

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for supporting quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role involves performing root cause analysis, driving corrective and preventive actions, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to ISO standards. Proficiency in SAP and Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred to effectively manage quality data, improve processes, and reduce variation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP in quality management functions.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with inspection methods, measurement tools, and statistical techniques.

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and quality audits in accordance with ISO and company standards.
  • Utilize SAP to manage quality notifications, track nonconformances, and monitor supplier and production quality data.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis and lead corrective/preventive action activities (CAPA).
  • Apply Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and defect prevention.
  • Support new product introductions by reviewing specifications, inspection plans, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Prepare and maintain quality reports, metrics, and documentation for management and customer reviews.
  • Support supplier quality activities, including audits, inspections, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
