About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Engineer for a 3-6 month contract with a possibility of permanent hire. This role involves working with a leading company in the commercial filtration solutions industry, specializing in high-quality filtration cartridges for various applications. The position is based in Hanover Park, contributing to process improvements and ensuring the highest manufacturing and production standards.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
Minitab analysis experience.
Strong background in process development and process control.
Solid problem-solving skills with familiarity in root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA) methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Strong background in data analysis.
Experience in developing and executing Design of Experiments (DOE).
Six Sigma certification or experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve quality processes in manufacturing and production operations.
Perform root cause analysis and lead corrective actions (CAPA).
Analyze production data to ensure quality standards are met and process improvements are implemented.
Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with the production team to address quality issues.
Work within a fast-paced and high-pressure team environment to meet deadlines and ensure product quality.
