We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment preferred
Strong knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement, and statistical analysis
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Self-motivated, organized, and proactive with a strong attention to detail
Excellent ability communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent computer skills; and, record keeping skills.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Ability to maintain and provide current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends.
Ability to lead projects to create a collaborative working environment; and, ability to provide leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to make decisions, results driven and strong follow through skills.
Ability to train others to quality issues as they arise.
Ability to pay close attention to details; good analytical problem solving ability.
Ability to deal comfortably with all levels within the organization; ability to contribute in a cross functional collaborative environment.
BS Degree in business, management or other related discipline.
At least 3 years progressive experience in Quality. Preferably automotive environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and support quality initiatives across production, including core, mold, and finishing processes
Analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions
Conduct root cause analysis (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) and implement sustainable solutions
Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with quality standards
Partner with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve processes and reduce defects
Assist with customer quality concerns, investigations, and documentation
Maintain and improve quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions
Develop and interpret quality standards for parts.
Customer liaison for quality related topics.
Supplier quality liaison for quality related topics.
Support CI (Continuous Improvement), CAR (Corrective Actions) and QMS (Quality Management System) improvements.
Perform quality and process product audits.
Analyze product data.
Train Team on systems, standards and tools.
Supports TS16949 and ISO14001 initiatives.
And, any additional duties that may be assigned by Management.
