Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field or higher.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Advanced knowledge of AS9100D Quality systems and pertinent Quality practices.
  • Mechanical skills and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) understanding.
  • Ability to develop, apply, and analyze effectiveness of quality methods.
  • Ability to proactively review and develop documentation/drawing for compliance with requirements, use tools for documentation and corrective action of non-conformances.

  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certification with knowledge of statistical process controls.
  • Effective time management and good organizational skills.
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering Degree

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust quality inspection procedures that support assembly operations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, tool technicians, and customers to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Mentor less‑experienced engineers and lead inspection effort teams.
  • Participate in cross‑functional teams to achieve long‑range objectives and explore new concepts.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and represent the organization at relevant conferences.
