Senior Specialist, Quality Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking multiple Senior Specialist, Quality Engineers to join our team in Carlstadt, NJ. Essential Functions: The control of both raw materials and finished product quality Manage or perform receiving inspection Review and approval of engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and work instructions Review and approval of production hardware Preparation of Acceptance Data Packages for delivery with hardware Review of build records Support internal and external audits, customer reviews at buy-off Support corrective and preventive actions. Review of purchase requisitions for application of quality requirements Review of incoming material certifications Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Nice To Haves
- Background in Quality Engineering in Aerospace or Military industries
- Quality Management Systems ISO9001/AS9100 5+ years experience preferred
- Experience in Dimensional Inspection and Calibration.
- First Article Inspection per AS9102 required
- Experience with Auditing Internal and External
- Experience in composite wrap inspection
- Experience in Borescope / Videoscope inspection
