Requirements

Bachelor’s degree / master’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or science.
10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Process Development, Manufacturing processes and Project Management.
Experience/knowledge in process development skills including (p)FMEA, tolerance analysis, DoE, SPC, GR&R, and ANOVA.
Ability to communicate with others effectively and concisely having leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills a must
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset, diligent and accurate
Self-motivated, collaborative and flexible individual able to function in a high energy fast-paced team environment with minimal direction.

Nice To Haves

Experience/knowledge in optical parts fabrication such as optical grinding, shaping, polishing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Provides engineering guidance and expertise to solve a broad range of challenges of varying scope and complexity using data driven approach to problem solving.
Drive and challenge Root Cause Analysis investigations using proven quality tools.
Work across different functions to develop corrective actions and preventive actions.
Develop new quality tools and reports to identify areas for improvement.
Work with cross-functional team to develop and implement tools for quality assurance and for product/process improvement and conformance.
Mentor and provide guidance on quality improvements initiatives.
