About The Position

The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes, conducting root cause analyses, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers, to identify opportunities for process improvements, resolve quality issues, and ensure that customer and regulatory requirements are consistently met. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who is dedicated to enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar job within a vertically integrated manufacturing environment is required.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of project management and/or process development experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of APQP, quality systems audit, and tools such as 8D, A3, and 5-Why.
• Six sigma training, understanding of GD&T and SCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintain the quality guidelines, procedures, and standards and that they are consistently followed throughout the manufacturing operation and product design.
• Focus on the continual improvement of assigned product lines, processes, and customers.
• Interface with customers to determine requirements, resolve issues, and interact with their portals and on-site visits.
