About The Position

You will be a Quality Engineer for our Lockheed Martin team based in Arlington, TX. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality products, and you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the required quality standards. What You Will Be Doing As a Quality Engineer, you will utilize your mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience to develop and review quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products. Your responsibilities will include: Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer. Supplier IPT’s and various production sites with reviews of quality data on yields, rework, scrap and non-conformance aging. Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex. Attends and leads program corrective action meeting, identifies trends, assists in problem resolution and insures responsible parties meet commitments. Participates as an active member of Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence. Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100. Evaluate the design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality. Interfaces with customers, suppliers and program personnel on quality related issues. Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Ability to travel.
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM.
  • Experience in manufacturing, quality, or production operations.
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Ability to organize and track multiple activities and prioritize task based on importance.
  • Ability to review, interpret and apply specifications to determine compliance with requirements.
