About The Position

You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for pioneering high-performance air and missile defense, air-to-air, precision fires, close combat, sustainment, sensors, strike system and energy storage solutions, delivering innovative products that protect our customers' interests. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality engineering efforts, developing and implementing quality standards, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement in our processes and products. Requirements

  • STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
  • Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
  • Understanding engineering drawings requirements mechanical and electrical inspection methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and to support all quality engineering activities.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
