CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer position for our client in Atlanta, GA. Duration: 10 months Duties: Design, develop, and execute automation and performance test strategies to ensure application quality, scalability, and reliability. Lead the implementation and enhancement of test automation frameworks. Perform detailed performance analysis, including load, stress, and endurance testing. Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance. Document test results, identify defects, and recommend improvements. Support continuous integration efforts by embedding testing into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Design, develop, and execute automation and performance test strategies to ensure application quality, scalability, and reliability.
  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of test automation frameworks.
  • Perform detailed performance analysis, including load, stress, and endurance testing.
  • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
  • Document test results, identify defects, and recommend improvements.
  • Support continuous integration efforts by embedding testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • BRIM Performance Testing expertise.
  • Strong background in automation and performance testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Ability to lead performance test initiatives and deliver insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience as an Automation or Performance Test Engineer, Test Lead, or Quality Engineer.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing automation and performance test frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Tosca, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing into the development lifecycle.
