About The Position

We're seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is hands-on and cross-functional, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of quality experience in the aerospace industry is a must
• Previous CNC Precision Machining Experience is required
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage inspection plans and quality documentation using InspectionXpert.
• Support APQP and Pre-Production processes, including Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Lead and participate in CAPAs using 8D, 5 Whys, and other root cause tools.
• Perform floor audits perform bench audits
• Be capable of making dispositions at the machine
• Perform internal AS9100 audits and external supplier audits.
• Train others on inspection tools like CMMs, optical comparators, and GD&T.
• Analyze quality data (rejects, scrap, supplier performance) to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues.
