About The Position

Are you looking to be part of a fast-paced, small team in a fast-growing manufacturing company? We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our growing team. Located in Red Wing, Minnesota, Elektro Assemblies is a leader in the manufacturing of all wire our customers wire needs; from single wire to complex large harnesses. We help customers in a variety of industries including automotive, healthcare, technology, and food equipment, just to name a few. From the start in 1973, Elektro Assemblies brings your prints to life by offering initial builds and production runs, with supreme quality and delivery. We are here to serve our customers and their needs. There's no wire too small or harness too large, that we can't produce for our customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards, control plans, and basic statistical tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with production, engineering, and customers.
  • A life learner.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance data; lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Plan and perform inspections and tests on materials, in‑process parts, and finished products.
  • Support and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including internal audits and document control.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve nonconformances and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in customer complaint investigations and supplier quality issues as needed.
