Responsible for ensuring products meet quality standards for the company. This will involve maintaining the ISO 9001:2015 certification and handling of the internal and external complaints. With thorough investigation of the customer complaints, and internal complaints, the root cause will be determined for effective corrective actions. The position reports to the Plant Manager. The role involves investigating customer complaints to determine root cause, implementing corrective actions, and providing 8D reports to customers. It also includes maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Quality records. The Quality Engineer will lead and supervise the quality team, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance, and work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and other departments to address quality-related issues. Additionally, the role entails reviewing new or existing items for feasibility and/or improving quality capability, and providing timely reports to Management for continuous improvement and to drive down the cost of Quality.
