Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Quality Engineer located in US Tennessee Memphis. Reporting to the Quality Manager the Quality Engineer, will be the responsible for maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization. What a typical day looks like: Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for complex component/BGA repair, and board-level electronics repair to ensure process reliability and minimize defects. Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process audits, final inspections, and visual mechanical checks on repaired components, including capturing evidence and preparing units for advanced failure analysis. Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and records of quality metrics, audits, and test results; ensure traceability for all repair and testing activities in compliance with quality management systems. Oversee troubleshooting, testing, and repair of PCBs, server boards, and hardware systems, including diagnosing issues at the board and server rack levels to verify functionality and performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal protocols during BGA rework, soldering, thermal profiling, and server-level rack testing to prevent damage and maintain quality. Analyze failure data, root causes, and process metrics from repairs and tests; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve yield and reliability in electronics assembly. Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier teams to align testing protocols, resolve process quirks, and optimize workflows for BGA and board-level repairs. Supervise production and assembly of repaired components, including monitoring supplier quality, incoming goods inspection, and material analysis to support high-volume server repairs. May be required Supervise, train, assist and guide Quality Technicians/ Inspectors. Office skills: telephones, data entry, Micros office software to include, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation package, planning. Technical training and experience using Statistics, Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies is required. Quality Management System (ISO-9001) / WMS / Microsoft Office / IPC Standards / PFMEA Experience on Managing Quality Plan / FMEA / Control Plan Knowledge on 7 Quality Basis statistics Tools; Pareto, Histogram, Fishbone, Quality Chart, Check sheet, Control Charts, Scatter Chart, Flow Chart. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering.
