Job Duties and Responsibilities: Be the point of contact and provide quality related support for multiple branches within a program Support program efforts as quality oversight. This includes verification and validation of procedures related to microelectronics testing to confirm specifications and engineering drawings are in compliance while ensuring quality data is produced for the customer, attending document reviews, process proofings, dry runs, qualifications, program reviews, and training events as required. Participate in process audits and process improvement activities Lead workstation walkthroughs to develop knowledge on testing processes within the division. Assist the Division Quality Focal Point (QFP) with internal audits on branch operations within GXM/V. Lead efforts in determining calibration plans for testing equipment. Capture meeting minutes and action items then distribute them to the stakeholders Be accountable for following up on action items being completed by established due dates Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Excellent written communication skills, organizational skills, Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, collect inputs, gather data, write and communicate action items, and interface with technical and managerial personnel.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented, possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and be able to work well under pressure.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.
  • Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • May substitute experience for education at the rate of one year of specific experience for one year of college.
  • Minimum of two years of general experience plus one-year specific experience in area of quality assurance, problem solving, and continuous improvement related areas.
  • Two to five years’ experience in a Quality Engineering Role
  • Experience and training in lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and problem-solving
  • Active Secret Clearance
