About The Position

The Opportunity Join Hitachi Energy and play a key role in driving quality excellence across our manufacturing processes. In the Quality Engineer role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How You’ll Make an Impact Collaborate with manufacturing teams to meet customer-specific quality requirements. Analyze customer feedback and identify improvement opportunities. Monitor and evaluate risk mitigation measures for manufacturing processes. Maintain and update PFMEA to track and minimize risks. Interpret quality data and recommend process improvements. Support Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement initiatives. Conduct root cause analysis using tools like 5 Whys and fishbone diagrams. Provide training on process performance monitoring and improvement. Performing onsite quality audits Support daily quality functions at the assembly units Ability to travel 50% to local assembly units Your Background Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations or related field. Experience in quality processes and SAP Quality Module. Prior experience with SAP S4/HANA systems. Knowledge of quality management concepts and industry standards. Certification or experience in problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to address quality issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements
