Job Summary The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, analyzing production data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and control plans.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and quality software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the sensor or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification.
  • Familiarity with ERP and MES systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures for sensor manufacturing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process non-conformities.
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and support new product development.
  • Lead internal and external audits (ISO 9001, customer audits, etc.).
  • Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain calibration and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support supplier quality management and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
