Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.  Job Purpose A Quality Engineer works within the quality team to ensure the overall quality of a manufactured product and is tasked with creating documentation, devising quality tests and defining the criteria a test result should meet. They play a key role in fixing issues when they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • English language on communicative level in writing and speaking
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5WHY, Statistical Tools, SPC, etc.)
  • Excellent PC skills with the ability to produce high quality document deliverables in short time scales
  • Familiar with technical documentation
  • Team player able to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • SAP knowledge, desirably with quality module

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the proper level of internal quality
  • Managing problem solving, containment and corrective actions
  • Developing control standards, instructions, control plans
  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and generating KPI reports
  • Managing internal improvement plans
  • Cooperating with relevant support functions
  • Improving the quality of the production line
  • Running system, process and product audits
  • Ensuring correct nonconform and suspected product management
  • Participate in change approval process
  • Providing quality coaching for production staff
