As an ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Quality Engineer, you will be operating as a Production Quality Engineering on the Orion Manned Space Flight program at Kennedy Space Center, Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Facility. As a Production Quality Engineer, you will work with the Quality Engineering team to develop, modify, apply and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for the Orion Spacecraft for Artemis II (first crewed flight), Artemis III (lunar landing), and all future missions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., systems engineering, computer science, etc.) or equivalent discipline (e.g., math, physics, etc.)
  • Familiar with Quality Engineering processes
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action training or experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective cross-functional relationships and an ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
  • US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • NASA customer experience
  • Knowledge of the Orion spacecraft or experience on a production spacecraft program
  • Experience with Manufacturing Plans and Work Instructions
  • Experience with Automation Framework
  • Experience reviewing test plans, test procedures, or technical documents
