About The Position

As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will support manufacturing operations by applying standard quality and engineering techniques to enhance production processes, identify nonconforming parts, and ensure compliance. This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential for full-time hire.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in assembly and/or machining
  • Familiarity with nonconforming parts and quality management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Document technical data related to components, assemblies, and systems in accordance with quality standards
  • Conduct plant floor inspections to locate, document, and route nonconforming parts
  • Prioritize and implement multiple process improvement projects to enhance quality and productivity
  • Conduct training sessions on quality assurance concepts and tools
  • Maintain and enforce process documentation for assigned production areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and process consistency
