About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2026 Supplier Quality Engineering Intern. In this role, you will support the supplier quality operations team by using data analytics techniques to identify quality trends and investigate root causes. Using your data processing and programming skills, you will work with multiple teams across Supplier Quality, IT, Supply Chain, and Engineering to audit system activity, uncover gaps, and prepare our production data for conversion activity. You will also create tools to help supplier quality engineers in the future. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of data analytics, experience with implementing change through group projects and demonstrated effective communication.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Math or other related Disciplines
Proficient with moderate to advanced functions in Excel
Proficiency with PowerPoint and presenting ideas and concepts to a group of 10 or more people
Familiar with digesting large data sets to identify trends
Demonstrated ability for organizing data and files
Strong work ethic with a focus on finding ways to be more efficient

Nice To Haves

Basic programming skills
Knowledge in Data Analytics (preferably Tableau)
Familiar with one or more of the following software platforms: SAP, Solumina, Apriso, SharePoint, Confluence, Microsoft Teams
Experience working in a team setting through coursework, work history or extracurricular activities
