About The Position

We are currently seeking a 1st Quality Supervisor for our Roseville, MN location. This is a great opportunity to make a critical impact as you work with manufacturing leaders and team members to drive continuous improvements and meet and exceed quality and cost objectives.

Requirements

  • 3 years in a metal manufacturing including metal stamping or fabrication preferred
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, inspection processes, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including production, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high product standards and improving quality processes
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and address customer complaints related to product quality, serving as the primary point of contact for resolving quality issues.
  • Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine current quality standards and establish quality and reliability expectations for finished products.
  • Develop and implement inspection criteria and procedures, ensuring continuous inspection activities throughout the production process.
  • Apply Total Quality Management (TQM) tools and techniques to enhance reporting and analytical processes across departments.
  • Work closely with production teams to monitor and maintain control over materials, facilities, and products through rigorous inspection and testing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of all purchased parts and processes used in the production of company products.
  • Review technical problems, quality concerns, and procedural issues within departments and provide actionable recommendations for improvements or changes.
  • Engage with vendors to gather information and communicate requirements related to material, process, and component quality standards.
  • Manage customer returns and maintain accurate job routings as necessary.
  • Ensure the integrity of the inspection, measuring, and testing equipment calibration system is consistently maintained.
