You will be a Quality Engineer for the MicroElectronics Center (MEC) team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products delivered to customers through electrical, optical, and mechanical assembly, integration, and testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree from an accredited college in a STEM related degree, mechanical engineer degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of Quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products
  • Familiar doing root cause analysis and corrective action planning

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with off line assets and non conformance reporting
  • Experience in production environment
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to customers
  • Analyzing and resolving process issues, and leading corrective action meetings to identify trends and assist in problem resolution
  • Managing nonconforming hardware reviews, including dispositioning, identifying containment, and implementing effective root cause and corrective action
  • Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance with specifications, engineering drawings, procedures, and ISO-9001 / AS9100 requirements
