About The Position

Requirements

  • BS (Computer Science) or Equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as a software applications tester.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts in Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments.
  • Experience with system, integration, and regression testing.
  • Understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and advise cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance (QA) analysts, and product managers, to execute the testing strategy.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases, tools, and scripts to validate business rules and business functionality.
  • Execute manual test scripts for requirement validation, integration, regression, and usability testing.
  • Identify and create reusable test data required for ongoing testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve software quality.
  • Monitor and report test metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Participate in software release activities, including test planning, execution, and post-release validation.
