About The Position

Quality Engineer (Level 1) This position reports to Quality Engineering leader assigned to F-35 and fabrication. Will learn to utilize statistical techniques and preventive action methods to evaluate and initiate actions to identify and control sources of variation detrimental to quality, cost, and schedule targets under guidance of more senior personnel. Scope of assignment includes; quality and cost data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action investigations and process validations. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Govt. Clearance will be required to start. A level 1 employee Typically has 0 - 3 years of professional experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Science or technical discipline.
• Analytical capabilities to communicate and influence others in a concise, data driven manner.
• Experience with data manipulation and analytics.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.

• Working knowledge of continuous improvement.
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and managing multiple responsibilities on a daily basis.
