Interns will work full-time hours during the summer. Job Purpose The Quality Team plays a critical role in supporting production by ensuring that every product meets safety, performance, and customer satisfaction standards. By investigating issues, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating across departments, the team helps maintain product integrity and drives continuous improvement throughout the plant. As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and quality improvement initiatives, directly supporting both shop floor operations and customer outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates may be pursuing an Associates, Technical, Bachelor's, or Post-graduate degree in the following majors or related fields: Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities

  • Following all safety procedures and promoting a culture of safety across the plant
  • Taking the lead in identifying and resolving complex product problems involving electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical systems
  • Applying established corrective action processes to determine root cause, communicate solutions, and document resolutions
  • Preventing recurrence of problems by addressing issues found in production build processes
  • Handling special projects that bridge the shop floor and engineering groups, such as: Conducting field return investigations
  • Building electrical test fixtures and test benches for plant use
  • Determining issues with new product releases and coordinating corrective action between departments
