About the Internship Program Our summer internship program is designed to provide real-world experience, meaningful project ownership, and exposure to business leaders across the company. As a Quality Engineer Intern, you’ll work alongside our Quality and Operations teams to improve processes, solve problems, and strengthen product performance on the plant floor. You’ll gain practical experience applying engineering and quality principles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Interns also participate in: Cohort networking events Professional development workshops Cross-functional exposure A final project presentation to company leadership Opportunities for full-time employment after graduation

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
  • Interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and quality systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings/blueprints
  • Detail-oriented with a hands-on mindset
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable with Excel and basic data analysis
  • Self-starter eager to learn and contribute

Responsibilities

  • Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving for production and customer quality issues
  • Support continuous improvement projects (lean initiatives, waste reduction, process optimization)
  • Collect and analyze production and quality data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Help develop visual standards, documentation, and process improvements
  • Participate in quality audits and corrective actions
  • Support customers and suppliers with quality-related data and reporting
  • Assist with quality system documentation (PPAPs, Control Plans, Flow Charts, Standard Work, etc.)
  • Perform basic inspections and measurements using quality tools and gages
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and operations teams
  • Present a final improvement project and key learnings to leadership
