The Quality Engineer Intern at Danfoss in Ames, Iowa, will support the Quality Team by engaging in Quality and Continuous Improvement tasks and projects. This role involves collaboration with the Quality Leadership Team to maintain reports, assist in various quality projects, and gain hands-on experience in the field of Quality within a global engineering company.

Support the Quality Team's progressive Quality Development Plan and objectives that support the company
Assist in writing basic procedures and documentation of processes
Create and maintain PowerBI reports
Assist with projects within the Quality Department

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural, Computer, or Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Statistics (Sophomores and above preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
Proficiency in PowerBI and Power Apps
Availability to work 15-20 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during the summer
Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the work location
