Quality Engineer Intern (Summer 2026)
About The Position
TEL Technology Center of America LLC, a subsidiary of Tokyo Electron Limited, a global, multi-billion-dollar corporation and a leader in the semiconductor equipment industry, is seeking software engineering intern candidates. Tokyo Electron markets a wide range of semiconductor production equipment (SPE) products and provides outstanding service and support to semiconductor device manufacturers. TEL's world-renowned products and technologies support diverse customer needs for the manufacturing of increasingly sophisticated semiconductors. Position Summary: TEL is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student intern in the field of software engineering, usability studies, to help roll out a TEL internal software system. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Familiarity with Agile methodology and low code platforms is a plus. The internship start date is targeting the first half of 2026. Time commitment is 20 to 40 hours per week and can be flexible based on student course load.
Requirements
- The candidate should be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in software engineering
- Experience with Agile Project managements
- Experience with user stories
- Experience with software development
- UI/UX Design Principles know how
- Testing- QA experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Familiarity with low code platforms

- Capture software requirements
