About The Position

Responsible for analyzing and managing warranty data for short- and long-term vehicles in service. Collaborates closely with Product Development to identify, investigate, and resolve systemic and spike issues impacting 0-, 1-, and 3-month MIS metrics. Serve as the single point of contact for the Interior Quality team within the assigned VFG. Coordinate and lead part reviews with internal teams and external suppliers. Initiate warranty cost recovery projects. Manage and maintain warranty and quality documentation within JIRA, IRIS, and Quality AI systems. Participate in plant quality line walks to identify and address manufacturing and assembly issues. Lead cross-functional quality initiatives to achieve internal and external quality targets, including leading and lagging indicators. Identify Warranty spend reduction opportunities. Lead and participate in CPR workshops in collaboration with Interior Product Development teams. Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to analyze warranty data and identify trends and root causes. Review and assess High Time In Service (HTIS) warranty data to support long-term quality improvements. Support expedited concern resolution by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Development (PD), PVT, and suppliers. Evaluate internal and external supplier processes for critical characteristics and process compatibility. Review and address systemic Interior quality concerns in partnership with Product Development teams. Support new model launch activities to ensure quality readiness and issue containment Actively participate in forward planning activities, including product design reviews and future quality strategy development. This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $63,480-106,680. This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440. This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360. This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in interior focused supplier quality in an automotive domain.
  • 2+ years of experience with preventative Quality Tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, systemic issues, and anomalies in large data sets.
  • Working knowledge of MIS metrics and warranty performance indicators.
  • Familiar with JIRA, IRIS, Quality AI.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and support corrective action development.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product Development, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
