About The Position

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer II will be responsible for the following:

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree In Engineering or STEM related disciple
  • 5+ years of experience focused on quality management in a manufacturing environment
  • Current knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standards

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ Years experience in Manufacturing Quality environment
  • Use of programs such as MiniTab, SQC Pack, Microsoft SharePoint
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. This will include addressing gaps in process procedures and facilitating the development of appropriate metrics for Quality Processes. Help the transition to ISO 9001:2026 in the upcoming years
  • Support the Customer Care Program (CCP). This may include:
  • Composing responses to customers regarding quality issues
  • Proposing warranty decisions
  • Organizing customer feedback to uncover systematic problems and trends
  • Investigations of returned products from customer complaints including writing reports of findings.
  • Leading cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Developing and reporting on CCP metrics on a regular basis.
  • Assist with ISO and Customer Audits, Audit Responses and Customer Requests.
  • Participate in Internal audit process.
  • Analyze quality data and performance trends.
  • Manage the First Article Inspection / Incoming Inspection process and laboratory.
  • Review and sign certificate of quality.
