  • Assist in developing quality reports, dashboards, and metrics for program and leadership reviews.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Assist with process mapping, waste identification, defect reduction efforts, and quality improvement projects.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to address quality-related issues and support actions through closure.
  • Maintain proficiency in industry standards such as J-STD-001, IPC-A-600/610, and other relevant workmanship or inspection standards.
  • Work with senior QEs to strengthen technical knowledge related to metrology, measurements, inspection methods, and configuration control.
  • Participate in training on quality engineering tools, problem-solving techniques, and evolving customer/regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field (or demonstrated equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a regulated technical environment (defense, aerospace, medical, automotive, etc.).
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (AS9100/ISO9001) and basic understanding of regulatory/contractual compliance.
  • Exposure to quality tools and methodologies (RCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, etc.); formal training a plus.
  • Experience with mechanical or electrical inspection, metrology equipment, or reading technical drawings (GD&T preferred).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to follow procedures with precision.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with limited supervision as skills develop.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Procurement, and other cross-functional partners.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to defense contract obligations.
  • We offer competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, paid time off and family leave, and much more!
