Job Description Essential Duties/Responsibilities : Works with peers, Continuous Improvement Leader, Value Stream Managers, Supervisors and Technicians supporting the day to day value stream operations to ensure procedures and standards are followed and manufacturing challenges are corrected Resolves internal and external customer quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective actions as part of manufacturing process gaps or customer complaints. Leads customer facing communication (presentations, meetings) Utilizes data analysis tools along with Lean and Six Sigma skills to identify improvement opportunities for processes and products for scrap reduction, productivity increases, and space optimization. Participates cross-functionally in new product development and product transfers into the Value Stream by assessing and mitigating risk utilizing advanced quality planning tools as required. Reviews technical documents from Suppliers, Customers, Industry, etc., and interprets them from a Quality perspective integrating appropriate requirements into our processes. Updates or writes the necessary documents (work instructions, forms) as required. Supports the Quality Management System by auditing processes and ensuring that processes and documentation are reflective of current practice. Also supports customer or third-party audits, including non-conformance closure. Leads projects including supporting Smart Factory with the implementation of new quality equipment and automation.
