About The Position

The Quality Engineer II will perform inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division, located in Fort Smith, AR.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.

Nice To Haves

• ASQ Quality Engineering Certification.
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities and recommends quality breakthrough objectives.
• Establishes economically practical quality systems for measurement and control of materials, processes, and products with emphasis on prevention.
• Reviews proposed product designs for compatibility with the system and plan the quality system.
• Identifies problems, prioritize them, and initiates chronic problem-solving efforts.
• Assists maintenance of Quality Management system.
• Plans, designs, and conducts product, process, and system audits.
• Provides training in product quality requirements and operation of the quality system.
• Other duties as assigned.
