Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer or Quality Tech in a manufacturing setting.
  • An understanding of continuous improvement tools.
  • Some knowledge of Problem Solving, 5S, and Mistake-Proofing.
  • BA or BS degree in Quality, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering - ASQC Quality Engineer Certification a plus.
  • Eligibility Requirement: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

  • Approve quality products and deliverables to key customers.
  • Implement and maintain AS9145 APQP program with cross-functional team for assigned programs and processes.
  • Drive qualification of product and process changes to ensure only the highest levels of quality are accepted.
  • Provide manufacturing support and communicate with internal disciplines ensuring product compliance.
  • Review and approve front-end customer requirements - Customer Specifications and Purchase Orders.
  • Review and approve quality document changes - Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), deviations.
  • Promote and implement best practices in the assigned manufacturing area.
  • Support in-house audits and corrective actions while helping maintain AS9100 certification.
