About The Position

The position is an individual contributor role focused on quality assurance within Bath & Body Works. The primary responsibility is to perform evaluations and inspections of finished products and components to ensure compliance with established specifications. The role involves collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and support the QA team as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical or Natural Sciences.
  • Experience in quality planning, project management, quality control processes, statistical techniques, and GMP.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform multidimensional projects along with day-to-day activities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel and management.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to travel (10 - 20%) as needed to support the QA Team.
  • Capable of effectively utilizing technology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and support inspections of finished products or components for compliance.
  • Work directly with suppliers to determine compliance of processes to established specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and analysis of findings.
  • Report non-compliance to the team or take appropriate action when data indicate non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to develop and share quality expectations.
  • Assist in new project risk assessment to evaluate risks and initiate contingency plans.
  • Assist in scale-up production and implementation of new and reformulated products.
  • Investigate process or product deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate test data gathered or received by suppliers for compliance to standards.
  • Support QA Lab on contract manufacturers' first production submissions for approval.
  • Provide technical root cause analysis support to vendors and cross-functional partners.
  • Collect and record data using basic measuring tools.
  • Evaluate data for trends leading to corrective actions.
  • Perform quality control evaluations on individual products as compared to standards.
  • Perform inspections on products to determine acceptability and compliance to specifications.
