About The Position

As a Quality Engineer I, you'll ensure all quality standards are met for our products and production equipment. You'll participate in the designing and testing of our processes, mechanisms, and equipment, and development of standardized quality acceptance criteria. You'll write inspection procedure, assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections, obtain disposition, and implement corrective action as needed, as well as participate in audits. You'll use your technical responsibilities to conduct our projects involving the design and development of new evaluation and control processes utilizing statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures.
  • General knowledge of SO9001, AS9001 standards.
