This role supports quality improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations by applying basic engineering principles to enhance and maintain product quality standards. Working under direct supervision, the position focuses on data analysis, problem- solving, and process improvement to ensure consistent product performance and compliance with established quality procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field ( or equivalent experience)
  • Foundational understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on a manufacturing floor
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach as needed
  • Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment ( PPE)

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Statistical Process Control ( SPC) , capability studies, and/ or Six Sigma preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and improving methods and procedures to maintain product quality standards
  • Gather, analyze, and report data to support quality improvement efforts
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve quality- related issues in production
  • Participate in projects tied to production and process improvements
  • Conduct internal quality checks to ensure adherence to procedures and standards
  • Monitor and document inconsistencies, defects, and nonconformance trends
  • Support preparation of reports on rejected or defective products
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to perform quality analysis and recommend improvements
  • Apply tools such as SPC, capability studies, and Six Sigma methodologies
