About The Position
Job Requirements Required Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related Technical degree Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing/process/quality Previous Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing or technical function. Experience with internal and external auditing Demonstrated use of root cause and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues independently Experience with disposition of materials Experience with procedure and work instruction development Project management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001 and/or regulated products. Desired Skills: Experience with Performance Excellence (Six Sigma) Green Belt or Black Belt ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or equivalent ASQ Certified Quality Auditor or equivalent Demonstrated leadership experience in project management Proficiency in problem solving software (e.g., Minitab) Experience in optical manufacturing setting Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership): Ability to work positively within a team environment (strong team player) Proven self-starter - able to effectively manage high levels of uncertainty and change Cross-cultural sensitivity and self-awareness in interacting with others Customer (internal and external) focused Organized and detail oriented.
