How Will You Make an Impact? As a Quality Engineer I at our Hendersonville, NC facility, you will provide technical support to the Quality Assurance function for issues impacting manufacturing operations. You will support and drive corrective actions, perform inspections and audits, analyze defects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will help ensure product quality, process capability, and compliance with internal and customer requirements. Location: On‑site at our Hendersonville, NC facility.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Entry‑level to early‑career experience in a manufacturing or quality environment preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic understanding of quality engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience or familiarity with capability studies, audits, and defect analysis.
  • Ability to support MRB decisions and corrective action activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure capability studies are conducted on critical manufacturing processes.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and review visual aids for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Conduct defect analysis and prepare related reports to support corrective actions.
  • Perform Material Review Board (MRB) activities on sustained products.
  • Participate in CAC meetings to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform line audits and product audits to verify compliance with quality requirements.
  • Assist Quality Engineering staff with APQP activities.
  • Support corrective and preventive action efforts across manufacturing processes.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations as directed by supervision.
  • Comply with all procedures outlined in the company security policy.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
