About The Position

Are you known for your attention to detail and ability to solve complex quality problems? This may be the position for you! As a Quality Engineer I, you'll ensure all quality standards are met for our products and production equipment. You'll participate in the designing and testing of our processes, mechanisms, and equipment, and development of standardized quality acceptance criteria. You'll write inspection procedure, assist in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections, obtain disposition, and implement corrective action as needed, as well as participate in audits. You'll use your technical responsibilities to conduct our projects involving the design and development of new evaluation and control processes utilizing statistical analysis and other control/risk mitigation techniques. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Familiarity with Quality System requirements and contract quality requirements
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and inspection
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, parts lists, specifications, instructions, and test procedures
  • General knowledge of SO9001, AS9001 standards
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
