Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical field
• ASQ certification is a plus
• 2-5 years' experience in Automotive, Defense, or manufacturing related field preferred
• Experience with ISO 9001, TS-16949 preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in SAP, Teamcenter, SharePoint, Excel, and Access

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing processes and specifications, to assure contract compliance
• Interface with other departmental personnel such as manufacturing, quality, and engineering
• Establish quality procedures, processes, and acceptance standards
• Perform build and quality problem solving using Practical Problem Solving and Lean Six Sigma methods
• Manage containment to permanent resolution for supplier and engineering non-conformances
• Lead and manage Quality System changes supporting new model and engineering change
• Leadership and support for Quality Plan Deployment, Integrated Product Team (IPT), Product Development Teams (PDT), Engineering Change Notice (ECN), Engineering-Try-Out and Production-Trial-Run review and approval
