About The Position

Michelin is hiring for the Quality Die Tech Prep position located at the BFG4 Fort Wayne Facility. The role involves ensuring that delivered products comply with quality planning models and manufacturing standards. The candidate will be responsible for anticipating customer risks, product compliance, and quality performance risks, and implementing actions to mitigate these risks. The position also includes mentoring and training operators to enhance their quality job competencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivered products comply with quality planning models and manufacturing standards.
• Apply sound MMW practices.
• Meet quality and productivity performance goals defined by the shop.
• Anticipate customer risks, product compliance, and quality performance risks.
• Process all complaints, nonconformities, nonstandard situations, and performance shifts appropriately.
• Demonstrate the effectiveness of implemented actions.
• Resolve causes of anomalies and nonperformance and input them into the progress plan.
• Complete the Quality Obtention section of the Progress Plan.
• Contribute to the definition of the Progress Plan.
• Mentor and train operators to gain quality job competencies.
