About The Position

Michelin is hiring for the Quality Die Tech Prep position located at the BFG4 Fort Wayne Facility. The role involves ensuring that delivered products comply with quality planning models and manufacturing standards. The candidate will be responsible for anticipating customer risks, product compliance, and quality performance risks, and implementing actions to mitigate these risks. The position also requires processing complaints, nonconformities, and performance shifts appropriately, and demonstrating the effectiveness of implemented actions. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the Quality Obtention section of the Progress Plan and assist operators in gaining quality job competencies through mentoring and training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivered products comply with quality planning models and manufacturing standards.
• Apply sound MMW practices.
• Meet quality and productivity performance goals defined by the shop.
• Anticipate customer risks, product compliance, and quality performance risks.
• Implement actions to reduce identified risks.
• Process complaints, nonconformities, and performance shifts appropriately.
• Demonstrate effectiveness of implemented actions.
• Resolve causes of anomalies and nonperformance.
• Complete the Quality Obtention section of the Progress Plan.
• Mentor and train operators to gain quality job competencies.
