About The Position

In this role, you will perform administrative and clerical operations for the Plant including the Quality Department. This will include insuring product quality by providing proper standards and physical test requirements to production, customer communication and follow up, routine clerical duties and furnishing reports. Requirements

• Minimum of a High School diploma.
• One to three years of experience in a clerical or administrative position at a manufacturing facility.
• Typing 45 wpm and good business writing, editing & proofreading skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Organization skills and ability to start and complete tasks on a deadline with little supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple rush items and function while under pressure of production line demands.
• Ability to interact with all employees, customers, vendors and other contacts in a positive, business-like manner.
• Regular and on-time attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assuring compliance with the product quality related ISO requirements and coordinating ISO activities.
• Gathering information on pre-treatment and coating material conformance to ensure compliance with specifications and process parameters.
• Reviewing daily Hold-in-Stock Nonconforming Materials Reports and coordinating and approving disposition of materials.
• Communicating timely with internal and external customers and vendors on the status of quality related issues.
• Generates Reports from the AS/400 system.
• Performs varied clerical duties requiring knowledge of general departmental and corporate office practices and procedures.
• Maintains records, checks data and prepares standard reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
