About The Position

From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable. Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (Flexible Hours)

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Previous experience in a Quality Technician role or prior manufacturing experience in which responsibility for Quality was a requirement.
  • ASQ Quality Technician certification (CQT) or equivalent a major plus
  • Possess advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Quality, Engineering, or other closely related discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in organizing work, taking initiative, setting priorities and sound decision making.
  • Possess logic, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills.
  • Must have strong critical thinking ability.
  • Strong Interpersonal, communication, coaching and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with external customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Quality Management System to attain / maintain plant certifications.
  • Lead investigation, reporting and corrective/preventive actions for customer claims and internal nonconformance events.
  • Execute on internal quality programs, such as calibration, GMP, food safety, pest control, audit processes, and documentation control.
  • Serve as interface with Customers and Sales Department on customer issues as well as regular interface with Operations and Technical groups.
  • Challenge the status quo and recommend improvements.
  • Support process and test method validation activities, including writing protocols, executing, statistical analysis and reporting.
  • Must be able to perform tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in training and development of testing methods.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Provide effective QA support in the absence of site Quality Manager.
