Requirements

  • Valid professional NJ RN License required

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred
  • Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness)
  • Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Director of Quality Management (DQM) with all aspects of the hospital's Quality Program.
  • Data collection/input, analysis, and reporting for risk management, quality improvement, survey readiness, infection control, employee health, and education.
  • Assists with all assigned activities to ensure the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.
  • Assists with implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan.
  • Assists with preparation of quarterly quality meetings.
  • Assists with survey readiness and root cause analyses.
  • Assists in the implementation of new and revised policies/procedures.
  • Assists with medical staff quality improvement activities, including ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations.
  • Assists the DQM with data entry into various electronic databases.
  • Assists with the implementation of the infection control plan and reporting as required.
  • Participates in employee training and education.
  • Assist with employee health activities.
